Yonkers is back! This is one special boy who needs a special family. He was here in the Cattery for over a year and was finally adopted, but after several weeks he came back, it was not working out with his new family. He was just not comfortable there. Yonks is approximately 2 years old. He is rather shy until he gets to know you, but once you win him over he LOVES to be brushed, and has a lot of hair that needs brushing! I have known him since November, and I truly believe he will be a great companion for someone. But I suspect he will be more of a quiet guy than the type to seek the spotlight, and he will need people who understand and accept him as he is, to allow him to have his space until he is comfortable and lets you into his world. A quiet home with no dogs and probably no small kids would be best for Yonks. He does get along fine with the other cats in the Cattery. He is stunning when fully brushed. He had a big lion mane but it had to be trimmed because it had mats in it. With the full mane he is really something else.
